Bespoke Queen Bed Footer

The Queen Bed Footer is designed to drape at the end of your bed, long enough to stretch from one base side of your mattress to the other. Bed footers are designed to stay at the base of your bed either draped or folded twice or three times for a thinner look. Bed footers are long enough to pull over yourself  during a day nap but they are not designed as a coverlet to cover the entire bed. Although some mattresses differ in thickness we have found this to be a great size. Please see our dimensions in the Description box below and double check our sizing suits your mattress, you may like to upgrade to the King Bed footer for an even longer look.

Tips to consider when creating a Bespoke Quilt: If you are wanting to achieve a “luxe” or “statement” look, then most often your darker colour needs to velvet. If you are wanting a more “subdued” or “natural” look then do the opposite. Incorporating the Linen and the Velvet is a practical all year-round piece. Linen on Linen is perfect addition warmer climates and we would suggest this for summer. In cooler climates Velvet on Velvet is also a possibility this of course will be a slightly warmer and heavier option. Most importantly enjoy creating something special, your new quilt will make a great addition to your home.

Step 3: Choose your Linen Binding: Binding is the edging on the quilt. We will only bind large quilts in linen. We advise pairing a pre-selected linen from step one or two. Please note binding will be seen from both sides. Refer to images for clarification.

Step 4: Select your stitch design. The stitch design acts to hold your selected fabrics and our 100% cotton wadding together.
